Solomon’s Stables

Non nobis, Domine, non nobis, sed nomine tuo da glorium

Although the proper way to say the name of Hashem (the Name) has been lost, that does not men that it never existed. Some say that Hebrew has no “W” and that it should be rendered as a “V,” we do not know. What we do know is that long ago, that Hashem was revealed to Moses, who in turn taught it to the Israelites. We have represented the Name as Yahweh, strictly for the purpose of demonstrating that the GOD we worship has a name, and that our GOD is not a generic god. The Name is a beautiful Name when said internally in prayer. It is a powerful Name and should never be used lightly or curse your brother.

Hear, Israel! Yahweh our God is one Yahweh.” Deuteronomy 6:4

Yahweh is Spirit, worship Him in spirit and truth.” John 4:24

This is the command of our Lord Yeshua. Nowhere in scripture can we find any reliable words from Yeshua commanding us to worship him. Yeshua passionately worshiped his Father Yahweh, and demanded that all glory be HIS. This was not a three year command, but an eternal commandment by Yeshua. For us to take the worship due the Father and give it to the son, is not only thief, but blasphemy.

We use the sacred name for it is a beautiful and hallowed name. Although we are unsure of the pronunciation, as it has been lost to us through the priests and scribes during the Temple era, we do not use this name in vain, preferring to pronounce it silently in our hearts.

Yahweh our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! Psalms 8:9

I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee. Psalms 22:22

Thy name, O Yahweh, is for ever; thy memorial, O Yahweh, from generation to generation. Psalms 135:13

For thou art our Father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, Yahweh, art our Father; our Redeemer, from everlasting, is thy name. Isaiah 63:16

This too we find fault in the religion of the Jews, for they are commanded to call upon the name of Yahweh, but do not. They do not out of a fear of blaspheming the name, so to protect themselves they create new laws the size of a camel, yet cannot bring themselves to honor HIS glorious name.

We follow the two great commandments as our Lord Yeshua said we should.

And Yeshua said to him, “Thou shall love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all your understanding this is a first and great command and the second is like to it, Thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself.” Matthew 22:37-39

We observe the law given to Moses, except to that which pertains to the Levites and Kohen.

Those who are uncircumcised may elect to follow the dietary laws Yahweh gave Noah, as spoken by James the brother of Yeshua, for the original assembly Lord Yeshua called for and as is recorded in the Acts of the Apostles 15:19:20. "Therefore I judge that we should not trouble those from among the Gentiles who are turning to God, but that we write to them to abstain from things polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from things strangled, and from blood.

We keep the Sabbath holy, we keep it holy by doing those things that please and honor Yahweh that day.

We observe the holy days as decreed by Yahweh, and not the traditions of men. On Passover we remember our Lord Yeshua during the blessing of the bread and wine for this was his request to us.

We do not make public displays of prayer, instead we pray in secret. We pray to Yahweh in purity, but we also make petition to Yeshua to assist us so that we may glorify our Father with his help.

We love Yeshua, he is our true and eldest brother, but we worship Yahweh and no other. We do not dishonor Yeshua by placing him before the Father, we place him in the place he told us we must place him, in our hearts.

Who we worship.
